When tracking progress on OutNav, there is an option to upload a graphic in addition to your written analysis. This graphic could be a chart, table or image.
In order to upload a graphic, it must not be greater than 1000 kilobytes.
This is because uploading a number of large graphics can significantly increase the time taken to generate online reports and download reports. Therefore, we encourage you to optimise image size where possible.
Below is some guidance on how to upload a clear graphic:
1. The easiest and quickest way to upload a graphic is to take a screenshot of the page using a snipping tool or your computer's screenshot application. Click this link to find more information on how to do this via Microsoft support: Take a screenshot or use a snipping tool on windows. For Mac users, click here
2. A second option for uploading a graph, chart or table is to convert it to JPG format and upload it as a photo. Click here for more guidance on this: Save a chart as a picture
3. If you have followed these steps but your graphic is still too large, you will have to reduce the file size. Here is some more information on how to do this on Microsoft: Reduce the size of a picture
4. Alternatively, use one of these sites which allow you to upload and compress graphics:
