During the outcome mapping phase, your organisation will have begun thinking about what could help or hinder your project's contribution toward the intended outcomes.
In OutNav, this is recorded as risks and assumptions.
You can access your project's risks and assumptions from the header bar on any page by clicking on this icon:
- Choose whether you'd like to add a risk or assumption
- Add the name of the risk/assumption
- Reflect on the implications for analysis (this step is optional)
- Click 'submit' or 'submit and add another'
All of your project's risks and assumptions will appear in a sidebar at the right of your screen so you are able to review them as you work on your project. You can also edit and delete risks and assumptions from the sidebar.
Once you have a clear set of risks and assumptions, it is important to refer to them when tracking your progress. When updating analysis, click on the icon shown above to view your list of risks and assumptions. Remember to reflect on the 'implications for analysis' when tracking progress.
